The next few will suggest the Live Turtle and Tortoise Museum, which vacated its premises in February 2025, or Bottle Tree Park, also gone. 1. Northpoint City Rooftop Playground

The rooftop garden on Level 4 of Northpoint City has a free water play zone with ground jets and tipping buckets, sitting alongside a dry playground and a large open lawn. It is sheltered enough for a mid-afternoon visit, and being inside a mall means toilets, food and a change of clothes are all within a two-minute walk. Bring a towel and a spare set of clothes, because children who say they will only paddle never only paddle.

Best for a free hour that costs nothing and requires no booking.

2. Lower Seletar Reservoir Family Bay

What Closed In Yishun (And What Other Guides Still Get Wrong)

Yishun has lost several well-loved family venues in the last three years, and a surprising number of guides still list them with a refreshed 2026 date on the page. If you have seen these recommended, they are gone:

• ORTO – the 24-hour multi-activity park with prawning and go-karts closed in June 2023.
• Live Turtle and Tortoise Museum – vacated its ORTO premises in February 2025 and has not reopened.
• Bottle Tree Park – closed; the site was redeveloped.
• Katapult Trampoline Park – the Yishun outlet has closed.

One more correction. Yishun Swimming Complex is repeatedly described online as having water slides and a lazy river. It has neither.

What It Costs In 2026

Eleven of the eighteen are free. Prices and hours were checked in July 2026; confirm on the venue's own site before travelling, particularly for the ticketed indoor playgrounds, which change their weekend and school-holiday pricing regularly.
