Booking a venue is the easy part of a children's birthday. Filling ninety minutes is the hard part.
The problem with researching it is that almost every guide to party entertainers in Singapore is a list of names with no prices, or prices copied from a listing site that has not been updated in three years. We went to each company's own website instead. Where a company does not publish a price, this guide says so rather than inventing a range.
| Service | Typical price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Magic show, 30 min | $280 to $450 | Standalone, no fringe activities |
| Magic plus fringe package | $350 to $660 | Usually magic, balloons and games |
| Face painting | $150 first hour | $100 to $120 per hour after |
| Balloon sculpting | $120 to $180 first hour | Senior artists $250 first hour |
| Mascot appearance | from $150 | Often 45 min to 1 hour |
| Bubble or princess show | $450 to $750 | 30 to 45 minutes |
| Mobile Nerf or laser tag | from $350 for 10 kids | Or $25 to $45 per head |
| Popcorn or candy floss cart | $180 to $300 for 2 hours | Both machines $450 to $540 |
| Ice cream cart | $350 to $550 | 2 to 4 hours, or by servings |
| Science party | $670 upwards | Mad Science quotes on request |
| Cupcake decorating | $27 to $30 per set | Plus a $200 facilitator fee |
| All-in package, ~20 kids | $470 to $950 | Roughly $15 per extra child |
The most booked category, and the one with the widest price spread.
| Company | Packages | Duration | Ages |
|---|---|---|---|
| E Magical Moment | $280 to $550, all marked nett | 60 to 150 min | 4 to 12 |
| Birthday Party SG | $350 to $600 | around 30 min show | 4 to 12 |
| Jellybean Party | Magic show $350; roving magic $450/hr | not published | not published |
| JNR Entertainment | $440 to $590; mascot party $450 | 25 to 30 min show | not published |
| Mr Bottle's Kids Party | $660 / $810 / $999; toddler $990 | 1h40 to 3h | 3-6, 7+, under 6 |
| Little Red Balloon | $380 to $450 per performer | 30 min | not published |
| Lucy Sparkles | from $350 for 45 minutes | 45 min to 2 hrs | 0-2, 3-4, 5-6 |
E Magical Moment is the only company in this table stating its prices are nett. Everyone else leaves GST unaddressed, which on a $600 package is a $54 difference you will not see until invoicing.
Mr Bottle's is the only operator segmenting packages by age properly: the Superb package is built for 3 to 6 year olds and the Splendid for 7 and above. Booking the wrong one is the commonest way to get a room of bored eight-year-olds.
Best for the 4 to 8 age band, where a 30-minute show still holds a room.
Priced by the hour almost universally, and the second hour is always cheaper than the first.
| Company | First hour | Subsequent hour |
|---|---|---|
| Jellybean Party | $150 face painting, balloons or glitter | not published |
| Toys4Rent | $150 | $110 |
| PartyMojo | $150 | $120 |
| Party People | $180 balloons | $150 |
| Little Red Balloon | $150 balloons, $250 cartoon characters | $100 / $200 |
| Mr Bottle's | $120 junior, $150 experienced, $250 senior | $200 senior |
| Company | Offer | Price | Requirements |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sally Bubble Show | Indoor and outdoor bubble fun, 30 min | $480 to $500 | Condo function room with outdoor area, landed, chalets |
| Sally Bubble Show | Kid in a Bubble | $120 for 15 min, $180 for 30 min | not published |
| Fantasy Parties | Character performance | from $600 | 3m x 3m against a solid wall, air-conditioned venues only |
| Makors Events | Princess party | $750 net, 3 staff, 2 hrs | Power outlets and space |
| Party People | Mascot appearance | from $150 | All fans switched off at the stage area |
| Pixel Party | Mascot, 45 min | $320 to $900 by package | not published |
Two requirements worth reading twice. Fantasy Parties asks you to flag a ceiling under 3m and only works in air-conditioned venues, which rules out most void decks. Party People needs every fan switched off, which for a bubble or balloon act is non-negotiable and, in an un-airconditioned Singapore afternoon, worth warning your guests about.
Best for under-sixes, where a character matters more than a trick.
The strongest category for 7 to 12 year olds, and the one that most reliably travels to a void deck or a park.
| Company | Price | Minimum | Ages |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dart War | mobile from $350 for 10 players | 10 players | around 7 to 8 up |
| Team Bonding SG | Nerf $350, laser tag $300, archery $350, per 10 kids | 10 kids | not published |
| Energize | $32/pax 1 hr, $37 for 1.5 hrs, $45 for 2 hrs | 10, max 40 | not published |
| Jellybean Party | $489 up to 10, $720 up to 20, $950 up to 30 | 10 pax | not published |
| Combat Archery Tag | from $25 per pax, 1 hour | quoted per 10 sets | 10 years and over |
Dart War states it plainly: they will bring everything to a park, condo function room or HDB void deck. That is the flexibility this category has and the venue-based ones do not.
Best for 7 to 12, and the only category that comfortably absorbs 20-plus children.
| Company | Price | Minimum | Duration | Needs |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mad Science | not published; $300 non-refundable deposit | 15 kids | around 60 min | Table, water, electricity; book 3 weeks ahead |
| Mr Bottle's Science | from $670 | 5 to 8 children | around 30 min | Table, electricity, shelter if outdoors |
| Happier.sg | not published | up to 12 kids | 1.5 hours | Table and 4 chairs; 2 weeks lead |
| Aiyo Event | $27 to $30 per set, nett, plus $200 per session | 20 sets | around 60 min | All ages |
| Craft Labs | not published | 5 pax | 1 to 1.5 hrs | All ages |
| Company | 2 hours | 3 hours | Both machines |
|---|---|---|---|
| Eclipse Party SG | $180 | $230 | $310 for 2 hrs |
| Funfair.sg | $250 | $300 | not published |
| JNR Entertainment | $238 | $288 | $450, promo $398 |
| Party People | $300 | $380 | $540 for 2 hrs |
| Party Twist | $350 ice cream | $370 | 300 servings $450 |
Every cart needs one table and one 13-amp point per machine. Eclipse charges $20 a day to rent you a table if the venue has none, which is the kind of detail that decides a void deck booking.
JNR publishes its SFA licence number, PL25L0372, on the page. It is the only food vendor in this guide that does. If you are serving food to other people's children, that is worth asking for.
Guides written for other markets, or padded out with search results, will suggest all three. None is bookable here.
These are observable facts from the companies' own websites, not a claim about who owns what:
Not one vendor site in this category states its GST treatment on the price page. The only exceptions mark prices "nett" without saying whether that includes tax: E Magical Moment, Aiyo Event, Makors and Growerks. Assume every other figure excludes GST and add 9% before comparing.
There is no general islandwide fee. There is a short list of places that cost extra:
| Company | Surcharge | Areas |
|---|---|---|
| PartyMojo | $55 | Changi, Tuas, Sentosa, Turf City. Only $30 on face painting and balloons |
| Growerks | $50 | Tuas, Sentosa, Jurong Island. Plus $50 same-day, $30 collection after 8pm |
| Makors Events | $50 | Tuas, Jurong Island, Sentosa |
| Pixel Party | $50 | Changi, Tuas, Jurong Island, Sentosa and restricted areas |
| PartyAllo | $30 | Tuas, Sentosa |
| Eclipse Party SG | $20 | Changi, Tuas, Jurong Island, Sentosa |
| Party Twist | $20 | Sentosa and Tuas only |
Note that PartyMojo charges a different surcharge depending on which service you book, which no other vendor does. If you are holding the party at a Changi chalet, that detail alone is worth $25.
Almost every vendor needs something from your venue, and the requirements are published unevenly.

How far ahead should I book an entertainer? Two to three weeks is the published minimum for most. Mad Science asks for three weeks, Happier for two, Party People for two to four. Weekend afternoon slots in the school holidays go first.
Do I need a licence for a performer at a void deck? No. Licensing covers entertainment the public can access. A private party for invited guests does not qualify.
How long should the entertainment run? A 30-minute show is standard and is usually enough. Packages running 90 minutes or more combine a show with fringe activities such as balloons or face painting, because very few performers can hold a room of small children for longer than half an hour.
What is the cheapest way to fill an hour? One balloon sculptor or face painter at $150. It occupies children continuously rather than for a fixed block, and it doubles as the party favour.
Are deposits refundable? Usually not. Mad Science charges a $300 non-refundable deposit. Happier confirms bookings only on full payment. Read the cancellation terms before you pay.
The honest summary of this category: prices are more consistent than the marketing suggests, the differences that matter are minimum headcounts and what your venue can physically supply, and the competitive landscape is narrower than it looks.
